Title: A multi-function framework for bike-share system’s plan, operation and application.
Summary: Bike-share system (BSs) has existed for 50 years and experienced rapid development in recent years. However, researches of interchange between BSs and public transit is fragmentary, while the methodology were mainly survey-based. Inner analysis of trip and user patterns have seldom been investigated based on massive trip data. In this study, a multi-function framework is meant to build up for BSs plan, operation and application. Three key tasks are included: a) A before- and after- change study of new transits impact on existing BSs using massive data analysis wihle trip pattern new index is presented. b) Correlation study to understand the impact of natural factors, land use as well as users’ demographic backgrounds. c) An estimation metho dology to estimate short-term demand and mid-term demand.
