23/03/2017. Mr Liu as a head of Urban design and planning from CCDI came to give a special lecture to the students of 2016 cohort. Mr Liu shares his professional career in China with our students who had a lot of questions about what they need to prepare before joining to industry. 27/03/2017. As part of CIV 5318, Sustainable transport systems, a cohort of 2016 visits Suzhou Industrial Park Exhibition Centre to figure out how Suzhou was renovated by a collaboration with Singapore.

Monash university, Institute of Advanced Vehicle technology and JITRI secured research funding of 4 million RMB( AU$ 760,000). The project title is Green Travel Models in Smart Cities: Coordination studies and Integration Platform Project.
The research is led by Dr. Inhi Kim, Prof. Terry Liu from SEU and Prof. Yifan Dai from THU.
This 3 year project, Monash is planning to recruit 4 phd candidates doing research on a variety of sub topics. I look forward to working on this project and making a great impact on traffic problems.
Subtopics are as follows;
Behavior analysis and demand forecasting based on multi-modal green travel
System optimization and resource allocation based on multi-modal green travel
Traffic control and demand management based on multi-modal green travel
induced travel based on traffic big data
Key technologies of cooperative vehicle-infrastructure systems.
12 Oct 2016. ITS China visits Monash university to seek a mutual collaboration. The Chinese delegates attended the ITS World Congress in Melbourne from 10th to 14th, Oct, 2016. Prof. Graham Currie, Hai Vu and Geoff Ross made presentations on ITS and Monash transport group. Read more
23/Aug/2016. Congratulations Wentao Jing on the successful completion of Mid-candidature, which included an oral presentation and thesis/exegesis summary. This is the second milestone of his phd journey. Wentao Jing will keep working on optimal network for electric vehicles with optimal battery swapping station locations.
5/Aug/2016. Congratulations Shelley Cao on the successful completion of your Pre – Submission Seminar (PSS), which included an oral presentation and thesis/exegesis summary. This is the final stage of the phd journey. Shelley Cao will complete her thesis within 6 months to be reviewed by 2 external reviewers. Please good luck for her last track!! Read more
20/07/2016 Dr. Inhi Kim was appointed to be a distinguished expert by Suzhou Gusu public security bureau traffic force. The ceremony was held on 20th July at the Gusu public security conference room. Our Suzhou research team will help the Gusu public security team solve traffic related problems in Suzhou by providing innovative technology and ideas. Read more
15/07/2016 Our transport group invites Prof. Seonha Lee from Kongju National University and Yuanqiu Bao, a director of transport department at CCDI. Prof. Lee delivered a presentation with practical projects his research team has conducted. Ms. Bao also introduced various projects that CCDI has worked in China context. 18/07/2016 Our Suzhou transport joint program has been successfully conducted for four years now and for both SEU and Monash we feel that it’s a good time and opportunity for us to sit together and enhance the program to a higher new level. So, we have organized a workshop in our Suzhou Joint School. We have invited the leaders/lecturers from two sides and also the industrial partners for our internship program to participate and present. Read more
